It's probably a lead generation site. You enter a loan amount and the value of your house, followed on by a couple more questions, your email address, home address etc. By the end you have probably just submitted your details to a site that is going to sell them on as leads.
Well I can go to all the lenders sites and get the information and go direct.

Understandably so. But, we have a detailed knowledge not just about the mortgage market, but right down to how the application for a mortgage is even made. We have several years experience working in Banks and Building Societies so we actually understand how their systems work. This is a huge advantage with getting mortgages accepted. We know the questions to be asking the processing teams of the Lenders and how to ask them.

Here's a good example. We had a client who needed a re-mortgage for £179,000, and had purchased their property a couple of years ago for £207,000. On this basis the application for a re-mortgage was successfully put through the Lender. A week later when the valuation was carried out by the Lender, the house had been down valued by £27,000; to £180,000. We suspected that this was far to sharp a decrease even considering the current economic climate, but with some research and knowledge of the processing system we had the Lender re-value the house with an end property valuation of £199,000.
